We had a great day out today, which ended up with a party for Arthur’s friend. Four year-old parties can be a bunch of fun, especially for the four year olds of course. There was a bouncy castle (see photo), fun food (sandwiches in the shape of animals and dinosaurs), and loads of party games. [...]

Image via Wikipedia Here’s a great game to try, if you like the idea of a break-out style game. AlphaBounce is this sort of game, but has an added twist. There’s a story behind the game. It’s set in space and you need to explore different sectors, planets and the whole story as you go [...]
I was looking for recommendations for games on my new Android phone (the HTC Magic), when someone recommended a game called Cubed Addict. It’s a multiplayer blocks-based game which is really addictive. My thumbs are going to start looking like they took some sort of HGH releasers. You play against players all around the world [...]
So Santa brought Arthur a brilliant game this year. It consists of a set that needs to be assembled that contains a motor, cogs, marbles and a whole bunch of different things you can use to build a slalom course for the marbles (Arthur calls it his roller-coaster game). It takes around two hours to [...]
I’ve just finished running a contest, well, a sweepstake to be more exact on Ugh!!’s Greymatter Honeypot which resulted in Elizabeth from Table4Five winning a Twitter mug, which should be with her soon. I must say, it was great fun and I had some great response from people who took part. I’ll definitely be running [...]
Here’s a cool concept. Lucky Live Casino is an online gaming site that lets you play games like live roulette, blackjack, baccarat, and live poker. And when they say live they aren’t joking, because you can see the dealer right on your screen and make use of your webcam to participate in the proceedings. It’s [...]
Don’t you hate those words that you always spell wrong? You know, is it acomodate, accomodate, acommodate or accommodate? Well, my spelling checker usually steps in to help me out, but when you’re writing on a piece of paper, it’s pretty important to know which is the correct one. Thing is, it’s not hard words [...]
Do you play bingo? If so, you might be interested in the promotion being run by bet365 Bingo. They’re calling it the Winter Wonderland Shopping Spree and it has a great prize for a lucky winner (actually 3 winners). Here’s what’s up for grabs: Accommodation for two nights in one of London’s most luxurious hotels. [...]
I’ve had a PS2 now for a couple of years, but I’ve only taken it out a handful of times. It’s not that I don’t enjoy playing the occasional game, it’s just that I really don’t have time to play anything I fancy. Arthur is two at the moment, so it will only really be [...]
I almost made it to Vegas this month, but unfortunately didn’t manage to make it (It was actually a competition, but I didn’t manage to make it to the first place). Still, it got me thinking about the last time I went to a casino and the games I enjoy playing there. I think my [...]
