Earn Money from Surfing

I thought it was too good to be true. Earn money from surfing the Net? Why would be crazy enough to pay me for doing something I enjoyed? Doesn't it all sound like a scam? But, taking a leap of faith I gave one of the schemes a try and, would you believe it, a few weeks after I received my first cheque from AllAdvantage. I was so happy I just scanned the bugger and am posting it here for the world to see. :)
My First Cheque
Here is a list of some of these schemes together with a small description of relative strengths and weaknesses. They all work on the same principle, displaying adverts on you desktop and giving you a cut from their advertising revenue.

AllAdvantage
One of the first 'Get Paid To Surf' schemes. AllAdvantage pays $0.50 an hour and will pay for up to 25 hours of usage. Will only pay while you're using a browser. Only available in certain countries.

CashFiesta
Cashfiesta consists of a Viewbar which displays ads on your desktop. It's available worldwide, with no limit on the amount you can make. Referrals are paid for up to the 5th level, which has a huge potential. Try it out today.

SendMoreInfo
This is not a Pay To Surf, but a Pay To Receive EMail. You can also read 'em if you want. These guys pay 5c every email they send you and 2c every email they send people you refer.

GetPaid4
Backed by Tecknosurf, this scheme will pay for time even if you're not browsing, all you need to do is displays the ads. Requires you to click on the banners once in a while (0.5% of ads shown are enough). Pays for up to 75 hours of usage. Previous payout have been of 0.48c per hour. Available worldwide.

Spedia
Spedia allow you to make cash in a variety of ways, surfing, receiving email, even playing games! They pay worldwide with no limit to the amount of cash you can generate. They also pay up to 5 levels of referrals. Looks pretty good I must say

TargetShop
This is a Pay Per Reference scheme where you get cash ($12.50) for refering people. They deal in bringing people the great deals for Internet shopping by bringing together merchants and buyers from all over the Internet.

MoneyMessage
It was only a matter of time before a scheme came up which pays for ICQ messages. Well, these guys do just that. The nice thing is that you don't have to keep an Advertbar on your desktop for ours on end, but only get disturbed when there is a money making opportunity.

PaidEMail
Yet another, Get Paid to Read EMail scheme. They pay anything between 3c and $3 for every email they send out, and pay for referrals up to 3 levels deep. It's available world-wide and worth a try. They don't send that many emails yet, so if it's spam you're worried about, don't fret, just try them out.

Paid For Surf
This scheme has no LIMIT on the number of hours you can use it to earn cash. It's relative new in the game, with their VierBar being available only recently. They pay out 50% of their earnings and are targeting $1 an hour by September.

ClickDough
These guys run an interesting concept. Instead of a custom written app that sits on your desktop, their site spawns a new browser window that comes on top of your apps whenever there's a new ad. There is no limit to how much you can earn and the system pays you for up to 8 levels of referrals.

GotoWorld
Gotoworld offer a browser with integrated ads and translating functions. Will pay even if you're not using the browser, as long as you are displaying ads. They pay 40c an hour, up to 40 hours. Available worldwide.

PrizeWindow
Presently only operational in larger countries, like US, UK, Australia etc, but you can sign up and be notified when it will be offered elsewhere. Pays up to $0.40 an hour and $0.10 for references

CashSurfers
Available worldwide. Payout doesn't seem to be too high compared to other schemes, however there is no limit on the number of hours you can use it for. Referral systems works up to 4 levels deep. Not very AOL-friendly, but hey, who cares :)

ePipo
Presently only operational in the States, but you can sign up and be notified when it will be offered elsewhere. Came highly recommeneded, but as I live in the UK I have no personal experinece with is. Will pay $0.60, up to 50 hours a month.

IgniFuge
Presently only operational in the States and Canada, but you can sign up and be notified when it will be offered elsewhere. These people pay you to use their page as your start page and will pay you .50c for every ten visits (and 10c for each of your referrals.

WaveVu
Another scheme with a different, these guys pay you to use their screen saver. Pretty neat concept actually. They pay internationally with referrals up to 6 levels deep. Pity they haven't actually started paying yet.

UtopiAD
Presently only operational in the States, but you can sign up and be notified when it will be offered elsewhere. Came highly recommeneded, but as I live in the UK I have no personal experinece with is. Will 40% of advertising revenue, higher is you have more referrals.

CashRadio
Okay, here's one with a difference. These guys pay you, not to surf the Net, but to listen to their radio. The music's pretty good also. They haven't started paying their listeners yet, but I'm going to be first in line.

Crew-Design
Not operational yet. Once it comes online it will pay $1.25 an hour. You can sign up and be notified when the scheme comes alive.

Browser Club
This scheme is not operational, but you can join up to start building up your referral base. They pay up to 7 levels of referrals, which is pretty good if you get your base going. There's also no limit to how much you can earn.

Perpertual Income
There are new entrants who have an interesting 5x5 matrix system for referrals. Worth a look. The scheme hasn't started yet, but they are looking for members with an aim to reach 1 million. Join up now.

Be-Paid.com
Earn up to $120 an hour. This works by being shown a steady stream of advertising using what they call an AdVision control. The control should be release late March. Quite lucrative if they live up to it.
