<p>Well, it&#8217;s a few days in and my diet seems to be getting on relatively well. Yesterday wasn&#8217;t such a good day, as I was out with a few friends in the evening and after a steak dinner, we hit a bar and ended up painting the town red. Today was a better day, which means I haven&#8217;t fallen off the wagon. I&#8217;m not using any <a href="http://fatburnerpills.org/">fat burner pills</a> so it&#8217;s down to calorie counting.</p>
<p>The problem with counting <a class="zem_slink" title="Calorie" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calorie">calories</a> is that it&#8217;s easy enough with pre packaged food, but really hard to do when you&#8217;re out eating; or drinking for that matter. Does anyone know how many calories there are in a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slippery_nipple">slippery nipple</a>?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve been thinking it&#8217;s about time I started working on a new diet again. I can manage to keep my weight constant, until I go on <a href="http://www.firstchoice.co.uk/">holiday</a> or something and put on a couple of kilos; then it takes me half a year to knock them off. I&#8217;ve been hovering about the same weight for some time now, so I think it&#8217;s about time that I got my act together and start working on knocking a good chunk off.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll using the plain old calorie counting, no <a href="http://www.adipexdietpills.org/">adipex</a> or any other diet pills of any kind. We&#8217;ll so how it goes .. but first I just have to get started!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve started changing how I snack in the evening, choosing to stay away from biscuits and chocolates and going for a healthier option. I&#8217;m snacking on frozen fruit and <a class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoghurt" title="Yoghurt" rel="wikipedia">yoghurt</a> today. It&#8217;s actually quite nice, especially as mixing the yoghurt into the frozen fruit turns it into something like icecream. I&#8217;m working hard at losing the weight, but I&#8217;m staying away from diet drugs like <a href="http://buytopdietpills.com/apidexin">apidexin</a>. I&#8217;m looking to change my eating style and habits, more than just go for the quick weight loss.</p>
<p>The biggest problem is that I&#8217;m shaving away from my weight, but it&#8217;s so easy to put it back on in a couple of days if I&#8217;m not careful. So wish me luck and I&#8217;ll keep you posted!</p>

<p>Mummy cooked us an amazing dinner tonight: <a class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trout" title="Trout" rel="wikipedia">trout</a>! It was really yummy, probably because it was only caught yesterday by a friend of ours. She baked it in the oven with almonds, added some veggies and new potatoes and everyone ate it right up! Well, to tell you the truth, the babies has a blended version of what we ate, and didn&#8217;t finish it; but we all did. I&#8217;m wishing I took a photo of the fish as it came out of the oven; the foil parcel it was wrapped in looked like it could have used some of that anti-wrinkle cream mentioned in those <a href="http://www.wrinkletreatment.org/prototype-37-c/">prototype 37c reviews</a>, but the fish on the inside was perfect! It was perfectly cooked, succulent and full of that <a href="http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/omega-3/hb00087">Omega-3</a> goodness that only fish have.</p>
<p>The good news, we still have another trout to cook! Can&#8217;t wait!</p>

<p>Still, I can always try again tomorrow; it&#8217;s important not to lose focus because of one bad day and if I can pull it back tomorrow I know I&#8217;ll be ok. I don&#8217;t need any <a href="http://www.bestsleepingpills.org/">sleep aid</a>, but when it comes to weight loss I need all the will power I can get. I&#8217;lll keep you posted how tomorrow goes &#8230;</p>

<p>So, first day of my new diet and I&#8217;ve successfully managed to stick to 1500 calories. I couldn&#8217;t have done it with the nice meal that Camille cooked this evening: Salmon with asparagus, baby corn, mushrooms and <a class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mashed_potato" title="Mashed potato" rel="wikipedia">mashed potatoes</a>, which was quite filling and yet under 500 calories. I did have a taste of <a class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chocolate" title="Chocolate" rel="wikipedia">chocolate</a>, which was against my original plan, but it was just one and that was the end of it. I also had a Noodle Soup from M&amp;S from lunch, which was great at 300 calories.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m planning to stick to 1500 calories for the foreseeable future. I&#8217;m not taking any pills or following any <a href="http://www.hcgdiet.net/">hcg diet</a>, just will power and a calculator. I&#8217;ll keep you posted on how it goes.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Right, <a class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Easter" title="Easter" rel="wikipedia">Easter</a> is over and it&#8217;s time to get back on the <a class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diet_%28nutrition%29" title="Diet (nutrition)" rel="wikipedia">diet</a>. On the plus side, I&#8217;ve had a tummy but for a couple of days, which has meant I lost any extra weight I put on while we were away for Easter. I&#8217;m not using any <a href="http://dietpilldiscounts.com/">weight loss products</a>, so it&#8217;s down to the gym and calorie counting that&#8217;s going to do it for me. The reality is, I *can* eat less calories that I consume if I try hard enough. But it&#8217;s too easy to go out, bring in take-away or meet friends for a pizza for lunch and none of those help. In fact, a pizza for lunch is pretty much my daily allowance of calories, so any breakfast or dinner I have knocks off any savings from another day.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll keep you posted on how I&#8217;m going.</p>

I did have a couple of wafers and an <a class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_cream" title="Ice cream" rel="wikipedia">ice cream</a> this evening, which were extra, but according to my estimates, I should be around 1500 calories in total consumption, so I should be OK. Was reading up about the <a href="http://bestweightlosspills.net/">best weight loss pills</a> around, but I&#8217;m just doing this by calorie counting; no pills or anything like that. </p>
<p>Weight this morning was 128kg, I&#8217;ll be checking in my weight every Monday, so watch this space.</p>

<p>Yes, I know; vitamins supplements are really intended for those who don&#8217;t follow a proper diet, and I&#8217;m pretty sure that I get my fill of all the nutrients, minerals and vitamins I need. Having said that, we always try to take our vitamins, Arthur gets kiddie ones and we take the occassional multi vitamins just to keep us topped up. I know that I could probably buy the <a href="http://www.mensvitamin.org/">best multivitamin for men</a> if I wanted to, but I don&#8217;t really feel like I need anything like that. I do occasionally take an <a class="zem_slink freebase/en/iron_supplements" title="Iron supplements" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_supplements">iron supplement</a> too, especially since there was a time I went to give blood and was turned away because of a low <a class="zem_slink freebase/en/hemoglobin" title="Hemoglobin" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemoglobin">haemoglobin</a> count.</p>
