A bit of this and a bit of that

Have you started receiving Christmas cards yet? We haven’t really started sending ours yet, but some have already come in. There was an ominous envelope yesterday that looked a bit like it contained a tax bill or maybe even term life insurance quotes, but it was really just a collection of cards some friends had sent us.

To be quite honest, I quite like getting Xmas cards in the post. It reminds me that people are thinking of me, even if I haven’t seen them in years. And I do know that some people just have a list of people they send to, and sometimes they are just business Xmas cards, but at least it means they remember us once a year.
