Tomorrow marks 6 months since I started my diet. It’s part of a study being done here in the Isle of Man and the great thing about it is that I’ve managed to lose weight and understand what’s involved in keeping it off. It’s not about following a prescribed diet, like Atkins, or taking diet pills like alli; but rather about counting the calories you consume and keeping them below a certain threshold.
It’s a bit unfortunate that I’ve had family over and been on holiday a couple of times recently, because on the whole I haven’t lost weight over the last 2 months. However, this does mean that I’ve lost a total of 12 kilos over 6 months, which is a great result regardless. I also feel reinvigorated, much like putting a proper polaris exhaust on your ATV and getting a new lease of life. I’ll keep you updated what my weight turns out to be tomorrow.

As a Friday eating companion of yours (occassional now as Scotsman Brown slashed my income), I know that we both enjoy our food….so sincere congratulations are in order here…WELL DONE!!
A critical time is approaching for all dieters…Christmas!! Watch you don’t pile it back on again
