Well, autumn seems to be setting in, but we managed to get some outdoor time last weekend as we had some summer sun to end the season with. We went for a picnic on Saturday and had a great time at Tynwald National Park. We fed the ducks, played with Arthur‘s ball, climbed a hill, rolled down and did all the stuff a two-year old loves doing. It’s great that we can have fun with anything. If we found a pile of spring plungers we’d probably try to build a robot!
On Sunday we went to Douglas Head and tried our hand at kite flying. Arthur seemed to grasp the idea pretty quickly and had a whale of a time flying his kite. Well, we all had a great time flying the kite (and climbing up trees to fetch it when it got stuck).
Hope we have some more sunny weekends!
