    KFCJust because I’m on a diet doesn’t mean that I’m cutting out things like KFC. The important thing here is to recognise WHAT i’m eaching and the impact on my calorific intake. So I’ve found the nutritional information on all the things KFC sells here in the UK.

    I’m really not digging the idea of a salad, so I think I’ll go with the Fillet Burger. That’s 441 calories which isn’t too far off a normal sandwich anyway. I’ll be staying away from the fries though, that’s 257 calories I’d prefer to spend on something else.

    I’m trying not to deprive myself of different types of food, as long as I know what goes into them. Life cruises by so quick that you need to maintain the simple joys, and fried foods sometimes fall into that category. Do you have a weakness for any type of food?

    4. I always thought KFC original chicken breasts had a lot more fat and calories. I love, love, love them. Weird, though: the U.S. nutritional data says there’s 100 calories more in our chicken breasts. I wonder if it’s that the recipe’s different, or the serving size?

    6. That *is* strange. Thing is, I got those values off KFC’s website and really have nothing but their word that the figures are correct.

      I suppose a different recipe is one of the less cynical answers ;)
