A bit of this and a bit of that

Why is TV so bad during the holidays? There’s always different things to watch when I have things to do, then all of a sudden, I have a few days off and there’s nothing decent to watch. Flicking around I can see all sorts of things from soap repeats from 10 years ago, to adverts showing old celebrities reading wrinkle cream reviews.

Well, maybe it’s time to break out Joost again. It used to be just canned shows, but they’ve started playing with live P2P streaming, which really is just what is needed to stream real TV down the wire. I’ve also been messing a bit with BBC’s iPlayer, which means I can catch up on Torchwood episodes. Oh .. and we’ve started watching Nip Tuck too (hadn’t seen it before). So, when there’s nothing on the Tube, just turn to the Internet for your entertainment.
