I’m not sure if you knew this, but Thailand was one of the countries Camille and I visited when we went on honeymoon. It was a brilliant experience, we saw so many things and it was marvelous to see how different their culture was to ours. It’s not hard to get flights to Thailand today, you can book online, or phone someone like DailAFlight who can arrange it all for you. But if you’ve never been to Thailand, I would seriously recommend it.

One thing that will always stick in my mind was traveling around by tuk tuk. These are three-wheel vehicles that are the modern day equivalent of rickshaws and are really amazing. We had a guy who would pick us up at our hotel and take us around the sights. He would charge us something silly, like $1 for a whole day and would take us to visit landmarks, statues and shops all day long. They get a commission if you buy something from a shop they take you to, but this guy wasn’t particularly pushy, so we didn’t mind. Weaving in and out of the traffic is an unforgettable experience though; if you get a chance, try it!
