A bit of this and a bit of that

Time has come for us to sell out old BMW which according to an old blog post, we’ve had since April 2006. We’ve got another car, and really don’t need a second one. I’ve been looking for different ways to sell my car, but I was thinking of putting it up on Netcars.co.uk, which seems to be a pretty comprehensive website when it comes to buying and selling used cars.

The site has a bunch of other sections, including a blog, a section on car loans and car insurance as well as the usual sections to buy and sell cars. If you’re looking to buy a second hand car, there’s also a section that lets you check if there’s any outstanding finance on a car, whether it’s a stolen car, or whether it’s ever been written off. It’s not free, but can save you lots of money in the long run.

It will be a pity to get of the BMW. It’s been a great car, the performance is impressive and I love it’s presonalised numberplate. Unfortunately it’s a sports model and having a 2-door car is a pain with an infant. So we’ve bought a Jaguar S-type instead which has 4 doors and is so much better for getting Arthur in and out.
