Came across an interesting article today that describes what “countermeasures” you can deploy again “microwave dueling“. Apparently the author delives that microwave ovens could be used to cause a denial-of-service attach on companies who use wireless LANS. He actually does so in-depth analysis on the impact different configurations have on your network and how to [...]
I came across ePERKS.com the other day. It’s essentially a website that provides an online service marketplace where service professionals can offer discounts and incentives to consumers. It also allows consumers to search for service providers in their area and learn more about them, view their deals and take advantage of all the perks (ePERKS [...]
Went out on a fishing trip yesterday. Caught some mackerel, but also managed to get some great shots of the Manx coastline. We also had the opportunity to see some of the wildlife that grace it’s shores. We say seals, birds, puffins and even managed to see a basking shark.
I’ll upload some more photos later, [...]

Have you heard of the Darwin awards? They are given to those who allegedly keep out gene pool clean by taking themselves out of it. They’ve been around for a few years and these are the awards for this year apparently.
First place winner:
1. When his 38-caliber revolver failed to fire at his intended victim during [...]

Turns out that back in the 1920’s the Wimbledon groundsmen used to supply new turf for the annual Wimbledon Tennis Championship from the seaside town of Silloth, in Cumbria. The grass was extra fine with a quality second to none, hence Cumberland (as it was [...]
I just realised that Camille has been posting more and more posts onto Arthur’s blog, and I’ve really falledn behind with keeping the blog updated with photos. It’s not that Camille hasn’t been taking any .. since we bought her EOS 400d as a Xmas present, she’s taken over 3000 photos. Mea Culpa, I should [...]
Need to read up about Skin Care? How about Alternative Therapies? Well, you can find lots of information at HealthAdel, an excellent online resource for Medical Health Information. And there are some really interesting articles there too. Did you know that coffee has certain elements that are more healthy than fruit or vegeatables? Or that [...]
Peter Verstage, a new friend of mine, has been pointing me to a bunch of interesting websites. A few days ago he sent me a link to Martindale’s Reference Desk. It’s a pretty comprehensive list of links to any scientific topic you can think about. From GeoScience to Recipes, from Astronomy to Construction, there’s a [...]
