When I was a kid I used to watch quite a bit of anime. Well, that was pretty much most of what was on Italian TV at the time, so it’s one of my favourite forms of cartoon today. It’s been great seeing the increase in popularity of anime over the last few years, as it means I can get a steady supply of anime.
Anyway, have you see Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo on Cartoon Network yet? I’ve seen the first 3 episodes and it looks like something I could get into. Okay, the idea of using nose hair as an offensive weapon (no pun intended) is a bit tongue-in-cheek, but the carton is well drawn and the dubbing seems fine. Illumitoon (the makers of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo) have been in the news recently as an example of a company that listens to its customers. This was because they had tried to put English subtitles on their DVDs instead of traditional Japanese ones. Some customers didn’t like this idea and Illumitoon promptly started a trade-in programme for people to replace their videos. Great huh?

I haven’t actually watched BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo yet but I laugh out loud everytime I hear the cartoon network announcer guy say the name of the show.
