Warm and Dry

It is that time of year again. Let’s pretend that it is our city vacation? time! We are back off to Staines with a really packed few days. So honestly I cannot really see it as being a holiday as such.

Thankfully we also have a weekend in Wales and a wedding to celebrate. Yippee! I like family get togethers.

Owen has been searching probably all the cell phones? in the world to find his dream phone. The biggest problem was the price tag! The phone he wanted cost close to half a grand! Yes you heard right!

Thanks to ebay he paid just a quarter of a grand! He is now the proud owner of an Orbit XDA!

We wanted to go out Saturday night but our biggest problem was the babysitting! Everyone we knew was busy too! Getting a babysitter was impossible. Owen even suggested getting the daughter of a colleague but i was not happy as she was pretty much a stranger.

Thankfully a friend of ours Carole stepped in and babysat. Arthur loved her!

When I say Las Vegas, I bet the first things that come to your mind? are Gambling, Hotels, Casinos and 24 hour weddings in walk in walk out chapels. You would not be wrong. But can you imagine Las Vegas for Cordon Bleu Training? Well, apparently you can get college training for the culinary art. If you still don’t believe me, just click here!

Well, in all honesty, it does make sense. You do need someone to cook in all those fancy hotels. I wonder if Owen will send me to Las Vegas so that I can er improve my cooking!
