I was looking through photos and saw these of Tiger Lily. Obviously this was far in advance of my actually owning a decent camera but still they serve the purpose. Tiger Lily was probably the most unusual of The Joke Shop Staff. Actually we looked after her for a few months, and when she left… it was a far lonelier place!
Tiger Lily often slept in the shop window of The Joke Shop, and customers used to think she was a prop until she would decide to get up and walk off!! Needless to say she did get us lots of attention!!
We were in London with Arthur when I took this photo of a squirrel. Although I am not enamoured by squirrels, I think this turned out to be quite a nice photograph.
Owen went for a walk to Cregneash. It seems like a wonderful walk. Shame that I am so far away and I could not join him. He took some photos which really make me feel like I missed out. Don’t you think the view is absolutely beautiful!

I came across a blog post based on a post from Miss604 about Breastfeeding problems & controversy at H&M in Canada. It struck me how sad our society is. We have decided to think that breastfeeding is too crude… yet in my opinion, breastfeeding is the most beautiful natural experience there is. So I thought I would share my experiences with the world. This is a short video I took many moons ago because I did not want to even slightly diminish the beauty of breastfeeding. Enjoy.
I like sunflowers and their sunny disposition! I miss having one this year. I should have thought of it earlier. Still the neighbour has one…. I can take a photo of theirs when it flowers. Meanwhile… this is my own home grown sunflower from last year. Ok Ok, Arthur‘s home grown sunflower from last year!
I never quite realised how beautiful fireworks can be. Since taking up photography I find fireworks to be really intriguing. Shame about how windy it was on the night. Wish there was another firework night coming up.
Today I had the opportunity to take photos in a studio. It was a thrilling experience. I must admit perhaps I was a bit too ambitious but well ambition is generally not a bad thing. Mind you have 3 toddlers at a photo session is a hard task and for your first session…. you get my drift!
Over all I was a bit disappointed in my lack of skill but it has shown me where I need to improve. I cannot wait to play with my photos and try to photoshop them. Hopefully I will have some nice pics at the end of it.
