I came across a blog post based on a post from Miss604 about Breastfeeding problems & controversy at H&M in Canada. It struck me how sad our society is. We have decided to think that breastfeeding is too crude… yet in my opinion, breastfeeding is the most beautiful natural experience there is. So I thought I would share my experiences with the world. This is a short video I took many moons ago because I did not want to even slightly diminish the beauty of breastfeeding. Enjoy.
Owen told me that I received a letter from an old school friend telling me all about a school reunion. It seems like forever since I was back at school. It would be nice to go, but it is too short notice to actually fly over for a reunion. Shame. It would be nice to see people, some of whom I have not seen in 17 years! Maybe next time.
Today was a doubly special day. It was Father’s Day and My Birthday. We celebrated by going to Chessington for the day. It is nice to celebrate as a family. Uncle Randolph and Grandmama joined us to celebrate.
We then went to Chinese at Shangai in Staines. Keri popped by to say Happy Birthday. It was really special. We even had a present for Arthur!
We started our holiday by going to Legoland. We started off our Tussaud Annual Pass Tickets. It was fantastic. Uncle Randolph and Grandmama joined us for the day. Arthur really seemed to have a wonderful time. It was quite funny he had fallen asleep when we arrived and he did not want to wake up!! But then he had a wonderful time.
Friday 13th is unlucky for some but generally not for me.
Today we travelled from the Isle of Man to Luton and unusually nothing much went wrong!! It was lovely to all travel together on holiday. I love true family holidays and this one is particularly special.
Wow, Owen and I got engaged 10 years ago today. Isn’t that romantic. I remember playing a game, “where do you think you will be in 10 years time…”. I would have hoped to be here but I honestly cannot say that I could have envisioned life today the way it is.
Truthfully, I am living a better life than I could have ever hoped for. Thank you Owen for so many wonderful years together. May we have 10 times more!!
I cannot believe it but it has been 17 years to the day since I left school. Doesn’t time fly. Would I go back to school? Believe it or not…. it is still a big NO!!
In all honestly I love my life now. Arthur is my life and he exceeds all expectations.
I really miss Ballet. And when we work on The Ballet Shop, I really get nostalgic. We recently uploaded a new blog to the site and have update the site with a new colour scheme. It is still a work in progress but it is really coming along nicely.
It is such a pity that I have not found a Ballet class for adults here in IOM.
Arthur and I had to travel back to IOM. After we picked up the grandparents from Heathrow, we headed off to Gatwick. I have truely begun to hate Gatwick airport. They are the most useless airport around. The reason they are still 1 hand baggage allowance is because they are not coping. Now if they were not so silly that they still insist on removing peoples shoes, belts, jackets, laptops from laptop bags, put liquid items into transparent bags? etc etc. They even make you remove an infants shoes! Honestly how much could you hide in a toddlers pair of shoes?
If I had a choice, I simply would use another airport but living in IOM, it complicates matters. C’est la vie!
