If anyone is wondering what to get me for Christmas….

I thought that HCG was a hormone used for fertility treatment but apparently it can also be used to help weight loss. It makes me wonder if this is helped me with my weight loss. Admittedly the diet had lots to do with my weight loss but perhaps the extra doses of HCG helped in my case. There are all sorts of things like HCG mixing kits that you can use… but I don’t know all the details. Perhaps I will look into it as I still want to lose another 12 kilos / 2 stones. I cannot believe that so far I have managed to lose 22 kilos and have managed to keep it off despite having 3 kids in the meantime. I must say dieting doesn’t come easy but I do find that thinking of those hard dieting days encourages me to not constantly over eat. Mind you there are days where I have to indulge, especially now while I am breatfeeding the twins and can temporarily get away with it!

It’s my birthday and I’ll party if I want to!! Yeah!!

I slept in all morning… perfect. Arthur made me fantastic cards. Arthur had his photo taken at school and Owen sadly had to go to work but this does mean that he will be able to spend more time with the twins when they come.

Sadly L’experience was closed but we went to a new chinese restaurant called China Town. Not bad but a tad expensive but it was a special occassion so who cares.

It is the end of TT and the weather was wonderful over the TT. Had a BBQ today to celebrate my birthday (and the good weather).  Cathy was a sweetheart and let me use her wonderful garden. I think we all had a wonderful time. Wish I could guarantee the weather every year.

I have been reading about grow lights. I was wondering if they would be helpful with my growing strawberries. I was very dissappointed that half my strawberries rotted before they ripened. Any advice on how to save my strawberries from rotting before they ripen will be appreciated. We did have an unusually wet summer… could that be the cause?

We arrived back home today. Owen went straight to work but Arthur & I headed home. Arthur was exhausted. Mind you, I guess we all were. It is nice to be home.

As a treat we made our Christmas cake.  Yeah!

Owen went to the Velvet Lobster for lunch today… and forgot to take us! LOL! I guess that he is saving it for a special occassion, made extra special with a lovely little gift like a silver locket!! Just kidding… but sweetie… it does sound nice… when are you taking us?

Well, after my photo of the squirrel, MysteryHK was inspired and wrote his own squirrelly post. I must say his inspiration put a big smile upon my face. His post is Muppet Show oriented and food oriented too… but go have a look… (not for the easily upset and offended!!)

I must say it is always so nice when Owen cooks. He made lovely Moroccan Chicken Wraps today. And to ensure I felt really pampered, Arthur laid the table. Bliss…. All I need is now is some calorie free chocolate!!

Today was a doubly special day. It was Father’s Day and My Birthday. We celebrated by going to Chessington for the day. It is nice to celebrate as a family. Uncle Randolph and Grandmama joined us to celebrate.

We then went to Chinese at Shangai in Staines. Keri popped by to say Happy Birthday. It was really special. We even had a present for Arthur!
