Photography

October 29th, 2007

I have started a new course in photography. Although it is more basic than my previous course, I feel happier as I feel that I am getting a better in depth knowledge. The lecturer is really good. At least so far! It is a course in creative photography and it will cover basic photographic principles, developing and digital manipulation. It is the digital manipulation that I am most interested in, as I have already covered history of photography, principles in photography and development.

I have to say that I like printing my own photographs. I also like developing my own photographs. Though the amazing bit is with digital manipulation you can do anything. Fix photographs, remove objects, turn a snap shot into an almost professional image and even correct colour balance. So I spent a couple of hundred buying a printer. The only thing it does not do is print on A3 which would be nice. The other thing is paper can be expensive too. You can buy A3 photographic paper from places like PhotoPaperDirect.com, which is never easy to find. Sadly I will just have to stick to A4 print outs unless I get them printed professionally. Ah well!

October 17th, 2007

You really can get anything via the internet! You can actually get people to write things like essays, research and Dissertation Topics? for you. I bet Roderick and Randolph would love to hear that considering they are starting university! The thing is shall I tell them or not? Hmmm… I wonder if they will read this post?

This is for everyone who adores cheap clothing! Tesco clothing is as cheap as it gets and not of bad quality either! I? love their jeans for daily wear. I also love using their clothes for Arthur, and as they are so cheap,? you do not mind if they get? torn, painted on or muddy!

To top it off, if you sign up, you even get £25 worth? of vouchers to spend on clothing!? Easily used. :)

Skin

October 17th, 2007

I have always hated my skin. I have pale or fair skin. That is being diplomatic. As a little girl, we would have a group photo of the class taken every year. This would most often be taken just after school begins (after a hot blistering Maltese summer). All my friends would squint away at the photo and try to find themselves in a mass of faces. But oh no not I! I could pick myself out from across the room. Somewhere on the photo would be a splodge of white. That was usually me. The ghostly face in the photo.

Then as a teenager, well my face broke out in acne. Spots flooded my face. It hide my palour by giving me blotches of red in varying colours! I even got called Pizza face. Make up did not help. Just made things worse!

However I found out, perhaps I did not do too badly as a number of people from the mediteranean have problems with their skin. Apparently they tend to suffer from pigmentation problems (which I do not seem to suffer from or am blissfully unaware!). Still, I guess they are still better than I ever was. They could use things like ORIKI Cosmeceuticals, where as I was Pizza Face throughout my teenage years!

Santa

October 17th, 2007

Do you think it is too early to start getting Christmas organized? I found a place that sends personalised letters from Santa. I think I just might get one done for Arthur. I think it will be nice as a souvenir though he may still be a bit young for it! I have to tell Owen about it. I bet he will read about it before I get to speak to him!

Warcraft

October 17th, 2007

As you probably know, Owen is a really huge warcraft fan. I must also admit to having played the game once or twice. Admittedly I never quite got as involved with it as Owen. I also found that I wasted inordinate amounts of time playing the game. I also think that Owen spends too much time on it when he starts playing on it. It is a good thing he does not play it too often or I would be a husbandless!! Or worse have to play to partake in a social life with my family. Argh!

Anyway, I believe that you can now play warcraft against others on the world wide web! So at least you may be getting real social interaction and not just software interaction. What has really impressed me is that warcraft gold? is being backed by real money. In other words people are actually paying real money for virtual services and virtual goods. In plain English people are paying cold hard cash for imaginary products and services. Can you just imagine how good that imaginary / virtual dinner was!! Perhaps I ought to get involved as a seller of virtual products? Can their be an easier way to make cash!!

Happy Birthday Owen

However, I also came up with this statement which I could not understand “Vote for Queue Jumpers with The Samsung G600 5 Mega Pixel Camera Phone “. I guess that I am? must be getting? old and out of it! How sad is that!!
