Warm and Dry

Arthur loves Balloons. Last Saturday he was given a 16 inch yellow balloon by the nursery we visited, and do you know it is still floating. When it dies, I must check if it was hi-floated because I am impressed how long it lasted. I used to give a 16 hour life time to a 16 inch latex!

I recently attended a photography course at college. It all started when I just could not stop taking photos of my little angel! The problem was they never looked as good as professional photos. So off I went and got myself enrolled on a course. And along with it came my Cameras!

I must admit that I chose? digital cameras? any day over traditional cameras. I like being able to see them instantly and take as many as I like. I also like the ease of manipulation. I love my EOS 400 D. Its a perfect camera. Wish its photographer was 1/10th as good as the camera!

My favourite is Macro photography, though I really need to get myself a better lens. I should have asked for it for my birthday! Silly me!

I used to love sewing when I was in Malta. There is something satisfying about creating something like a dress? from a simple piece of material.? Sewing supplies? just are not easy to come by anymore. The biggest? problem is that shops selling? sewing machines? ? &? sewing kit? items just keep closing down. This is mostly because it is so cheap to buy ready made clothes as compared to a piece of material. And that does not even take into consideration the amount of time and effort that it takes to make the dress. However, the satisfaction makes it all worth while.

I really need to get Owen to do some search engine optimisation for his new website searchmann. I am sure he could do with some text link ads? for searchmann though they would really need to be isle of man oriented. With search engine optimisation, there is no way we could compete with some other websites.

I must say I am glad that Owen does all our search engine optimisation because I would probably get lost. I would need to use seo services and I am still not sure I could manage it. Mind you as I always say leave it to the proffessionals especially when you don’t know jack!

Someone told me about this site that sells Dansko Shoes? . I must say they look really comfortable. Besides shoes, they also sell? Dansko Boots? & Sandals. For once it looks like they made shoes primarily for comfort. They even managed to do it without compromising on style. I mean granny shoes are comfortable but I would not be seen dead in them under any circumstances! If you know what I mean. And some how I cannot envisage comfortable stilettos!

Can you believe this… you can get a whole year worth of? free web hosting! Not only is it free but they also have a 99.9% guarenteed uptime! They even offer telephone support 24 hours a day, seven days a week! You do need to go through a special link to get it but there do not seem to be any ties or anything. Really impressive.

I remember the time when it was hugely expensive, spent more time down than up and was not easy to get.

This makes it really hard for The Only-Network to compete on price. Well impossible really. The biggest difference between the two is that they are far better equipped to deal with multiple people and large companies and are financially able to offer free hosting for a year, where as The Only-Network can only give a very personal service to the select few.

I must say that if you know enough about hosting, go for it. A deal like that is hard to come by and too good to miss! Even if I do say so myself! I am such a traitor to the only-network. I ought to be hung and quartered and fed to the dogs!
