Warm and Dry

I have found a solution to doing up the house we are renting. If I install aluminum kitchen cabinets, then I will not have to worry about them breaking. They are easy to maintain and should last for ages. They will also look nice and modern as the metal look seems to be in!

Do you remember Charlie Chaplin and Laurel & Hardy? I miss them. I have not seen them in years. I grew up laughing at them. I really wish I could lay my hands on some footage. I would love to show them to Arthur.

I bet he would enjoy them as much as Higgeldy House or Mr Tumbles.

I found some more new recipes? on a blog website. They have some unusual items like Pecan Rolls (Yummy!) and Luau Recipes -? Hawaiin recipes. They do sound so appetitizing.

They also have monthly competitions. It would be so great if they had a kenwood processor that I won as a prize, or even a bread maker! What would you like to win?

The only drawback for me? is that all the measurements are in american measures, but that can be overcome quite easily, I hope.

I think they also have a broken link on the Orange Banana Freeze recipe. Does anyone have that recipe, it sounds delicious.

And if someone can tell me what shortening is, there is another recipe I would really love to try. mmmm.

Arthur-Valentine? are you coming to cook with Mummy?

We go through batteries like there is no tomorrow. We need batteries for 80% of Arthur’s toys. We need batteries for Owen’s gadget and batteries for my occassional erm item too!

The thing is they are so expensive. I have tried rechargable but unless the rechargable batteries come direct with the product, the rechargables are not as good as a Duracell Plus battery.

Wish I knew where to buy them cheaply!

Identity Direct? have given me a few ideas for labelling things for Arthur. I do keep trying to buy Arthur stuff with his name on but I can nearly never find anything with his name on. So far all I have found is a keyring. But this way all his things can be personalised.

Why does Arthur wake up earlier at weekends? It is like he knows that it is the weekend, but is oblivious to the fact that weekends are for sleeping in!

As you know I have embarked on a new hobby - Photography. Just like Headshot Studio? I agree that headshots are an important part of someones portfolio. Anyway I could do with some practise. So if you want to volunteer as a model, I will gladly snap away. I will even give you a set of photos too!

Look at these baby shower supplies! Are they not simply adorable. I miss having a little baby. Arthur is growing up so fast. I keep getting broody. And when I come across things like this, I get even more broody. And it would be nice to have a little brother or sister for Arthur. If I get pregnant again, I will celebrate with another baby shower.

These things are so adorable, I might just use them for his 2nd birthday. I could make it duck themed! I would have loads of yellow balloons. I wonder if I could get a duck shaped balloon. I know they do mini ones but I wonder if they do x large ones?

Roderick is doing well. He is a bit tired but well.

He does not need an operation. His stitches will be removed in 10 days and he will be checked again a week later to confirm that he has no pain.
