Warm and Dry

I love my cats. But I hate their fleas. We are constantly buying a ranging of flea products. The products work well which means we do not have fleas. But it does mean that we are reliant on them. All I can say is thank goodness for products that work! I would hate to have to give up my cats or live with fleas!

I must say we moved back to the Isle of Man based upon my hormonal decision. I do think that this was probably the best decision for us as a family. Sometimes though I suspect this is not the best decision for Owen’s career. I can see him progressing so much more if he were based in London or California. Not that I can ever imagine us living in California. (based on my current issues with US Protocol).

So sometimes my thoughts linger into what we would do if we have to move. It would after all not be that far fetched if Solid Soft decided to Ask Owen to move back to Basingstoke. Though I do hope this does not happen.

But if we do have to move, it won’t be like we did it last time. I won’t spend months shifting things from place to place. I will use professional moving companies? regardless of the cost. The stress of moving is not worth it. Depending on how far we go, I would also consider auto transport, especially if we have international shipping? to consider ie return to Malta or go to the US! I shudder to think about the possibilities!

FriendFinder? is a way to find new friends. I guess this is a great way to make new friends, particularly if you move to a new area and do not know anyone. You know how lonely it can be till you make friends.

I tend to move quite alot, and I tend to move quite remotely eg from Malta to the Isle of Man to Staines and back to the Isle of Man. So having a way to make friends like this is quite a new thing. And pretty good too - I think!

I did do a search for the Isle of Man but did not come up with much suitability. It would be good if I were after more than friendship but I am not.

I am not sure this is the place for me for a number of reasons. The first being that I am not looking for love as I have already met the love of my life. I am talking about my husband. The second reason being that I am a very anti social person anyway. Hence… not quite my type of thing.

It is a good web idea over all. Just not my cup of tea!

I have recently been feeling a bit ill. I have been to my GP but that has not particularly helped. So I took it on myself to search the net. I came across this site that lets you Buy Bowtrol. Obviously I looked at the Bowtrol Reviews? and the Bowtrol Forum. Doubt it will be beneficial to me but as always, I am glad that I have the internet. Makes me feel reassured … I think!

I found this website that I think Keri will be interested in. Keri just finished a degree in Event Management. This company is made up of San Francisco event planners . So they won’t be quite ideal for Keri but they might give her some ideas. Obviously they are based in San Francisco in the States while Keri is based in the Uk. They would deal with events based in that area. Personally I love organizing events. I think it would be a great job. They cover corporate events through to parties and any type of event you can imagine. Cool!

I am so tired…. I really should go to bed. Maybe I will write just 1 more post. Just 1!

I just found a website that has real estate software. I think this might just make sense for me to use with Viola Avenue being split into 3 flats. Especially as our current estate agent sucks big time. The good thing about this is that they have a 15 day trial, which means that I can get to test the software. They do things like collect the rent online. Pretty good especially when you are based miles away. There are 3 editions:-

1. The Landlords Edition
2. The Property Manager Edition
3. The Association Edition

Now to decide which to try out -? which will it be!

I got Randolph to get his new blog up and running. Now to get Roderick and Mikela. At least it will be easier as Randolph has an idea what he is doing. Perhaps he can show them! Or maybe I am that good and can show them how in a few minutes too!

It was the Ascot season again. And yet again I missed going. I think that was one of the best things about living in Staines. We were close enough to go to Ascot every year or almost. Obviously I have not been there since they did it up as I have been in IOM. But it is always nice to say that I have been.

It was great to also have a flutter. Never quite knew what I was doing but I did win a couple of times. Mind you, it was based solely on luck. Now if I knew what I were doing I could still place a bet online. There are some places that allow you to bet on sporting events such as Ascot and not just on online poker!

Mind you if I have to place a bet… I think I would rather bet on whether the weather will rain or not next Ascot!

Yesterday, we went out for a fun day. It was a really nice day too. We had a picnic blanket and a ball. We met up with friends and had junk food for lunch. We were walking around the amusements and we left the ball and picnic blanket in our spot. Needless to say (or I probably would not be grumbling about it) when we got back neither the ball nor the blanket were there. Someone actually pinched them on a fun day. The ball was nothing special. It cost just a pound and the blanket was so used, it was tearing from the handle. But that is not the point. Someone thought it was acceptable to pick them up and take them. They did not consider that the ball belonged to a little boy and that the blanket was being used. Needless to say, it really ruined our fun? day!
